Trails to Empower Kids (TREK) was established by a group of friends. Blessed with seeing the beauty of the mountains, they also also saw the deprivation that isolation brings to the tribes who live in them. Realizing that most government agencies, NGOs, and other support groups are not able to reach such remote locations, they decided to be the conduits for people who want to help children who live in the mountains, but cannot personally deliver their support.

- TREK, in partnership with Maria Aurora Offroaders Association, will conduct an exploration and TREK project sites recon in Dinapigue, Isabela from April 9 - 11, 2010.
We invite you to join and help us organize our next outreach. We need volunteers, financial support and other assistance. If you have a van than you can lend us, that would be great.
Aside from our recon, we can help in the tree planting and clean up, plus optional surf lessons. For those who didn't join our first TREK Aurora (May 2008), this is your chance to see the beautiful beach of Casiguran that we have been raving about.
For those who wish to join, our budget is Php 1,200.00, inclusive of transportation to and from Manila, 4x4 ride and donation to TREK. Food not included.
